Director's statement

It was an absolute honor to work with all of the men featured in BEAR RUN. Their willingness to share their lives and stories for the purpose of furthering understanding about gay men - our lives, relationships and our bear culture - takes a strength of character and openness that is beyond inspiring.

Having the responsibility of telling their stories and introducing a broad audience to the Bear Community was a privilege... and a high point in my career. I plan on continuing to explore the diversity and complexity of the bear phenomena.
